Lars began military service following his time in school. He completed the basic military duties for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), which is an infantry unit in the Danish army's Danish army. After having completed his military service Lars decided that this wasn't what he wanted , and began searching for something new. He decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette who was working for the military for one year, returned from a juggler's course to show Lars how she was able to juggle in just three days. Lars was happy about this and was keen to give it a go. He decided to drop out of college and attended the juggler's school. He learned fire breathing and performing juggling at this institution. He then traveled with two of his buddies across Europe performing as touring artists performing in cities like Paris, Munich and Moscow. A few years later, he was into contact with a children's circus, where he also studied pantomime in addition to street and children's play.
