Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into combat sports as a Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority verdict. Antonina continued her career by winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and was the winner of the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina has fought her last time against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won via unanimous verdict. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002, when she took on Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won 3-0 following in the second round TKO. The following two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and made her comeback against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. She was awarded the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko went 1-2 during her subsequent three bouts she lost to Ariane Lipski, and then falling to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee.
